Heat loss calculation/U-value

Energy saving starts at the facade

The energy efficiency of a building is significantly influenced by the thermal quality of the building envelope. Building envelope optimization is often the most efficient action for saving energy.

We support you in energy-efficient component optimization of window frame and façades profiles as well as for component connections and provide the following services for you:

  • 2D and 3D thermal bridges calculation detailed according to DIN EN ISO 10211
  • U-value calculation according to DIN EN ISO 6946, DIN EN ISO 10077, DIN EN ISO 13789
  • thermal analysis according to other country-specific standards
  • if necessary, development of economic improvement measures

Energy performance certificates for residential and non-residential buildings

Demonstrably forward-looking

The aim of the German government is to achieve a virtually climate-neutral building stock by 2050. This is to be achieved by using renewable energies and minimising the energy requirements of buildings.

To realise these goals, the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) and the Renewable Energies Heat Act (EEWärmeG) form the minimum standard under building law. The verification procedure described in the EnEV specifies maximum values for the annual primary energy requirement and the required energy efficiency of the building envelope. The results are presented in the so-called energy performance certificate. We provide the EnEV certificate for residential and non-residential buildings based on the currently valid version.

The energy certificate is handed over on completion of the construction project and includes the following partial services:

  • Measurement of the external components or the entire building envelope
  • Dimensioning of the system technology
  • Verification of the summer heat insulation
  • Verification in accordance with the EEWärmeG
  • Determination and assessment of thermal bridges
  • Energy optimisation measures
  • Determination of energy requirements
