On 14 and 15 May, in collaboration with EurA AG, we hosted a network meeting from the 4 ZIM networks (Healthyindoor, MinusCarbon, Serial Refurbishment 4.0 and Designed4Circularity) at our research and development centre (FEZ).
EurA AG in Pfarrkirchen is an innovation consultancy with a focus on renewable energies, the construction industry and decarbonisation. The main focus of the location is on the development of innovative technologies and effective business models.
The two-day meeting focussed on mutual exchange between participants, including identifying needs, initiating new project approaches and identifying problems and solutions.
In addition to exciting presentations such as ‘The path to climate-positive buildings’, ‘Sustainable buildings’, ‘Funding for R&D projects - from prototype to marketing’ and ‘Energy consulting for buildings’, it was a great pleasure for us to offer the participants a tour of our research and development centre and to demonstrate our wide range of testing options. We also presented the laboratories of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology that we have made available in our FEZ (more information on the university's laboratories can be found here).
But of course, ‘networking’ doesn't just mean lots of presentations and group work. After the first day, for example, there was a joint visit to the beer garden in the Bräustüberl Mariakirchen, which rounded off the first day perfectly and led to further exciting and informative discussions in a cosy atmosphere.
